Large sites backing on to Sailors Bay are hard to find, so when our clients came to us with their brief, we knew the resulting design would need to be special. The steep slope, narrow frontage, exposed rock outcrops, and an elevated street presented plenty of obstacles and opportunities.

The resulting design sought to maximise the northern aspect and views by splitting the home’s form vertically, with habitable spaces and garden terraces cascading towards the bay.

Classical motifs soften Miami Modern, combining the passions of the couple, producing a project that is uniquely suited to the site and the client’s lifestyle.
