Set in a rural context, our client’s love of the farm demanded sustainability and environmental efficiency through the use of materials and construction methods to harness solar and thermal performance.

This passive design boasted glorious rammed earth walls, cross-ventilated pavilions with fly roofs, and insulated thermal mass. It also has a detached granny flat pavilion separated by a green space and covered walkways.

This is a modern take on an Australiana farm style house, resulting in minimal impact to the land as possible, preserved for future generations.
